
How To Make a Base for Your Cobra Bag from $35

Watch the video below for a step-by-step guide on making a base for your Kewlus cobra bag from just $35. At the end of the video I demonstrate how the DIY base compares to the OctaBase and to the Platform Paddles. This type DIY base is ideal for any of the Kewlus Core kits.
Please watch the video first, before buying parts.
Parts:
- 4 or more square shape 1'6" (450mm) wide MDF Boards or Particle Boards (as thick as possible);
- Wood glue - either PVA glue or Liquid Nails glue; and
- 8 x 2 inch (50mm) countersunk screws.
Watch the video for other parts that you may need if making further enhancements, like adding wheels.
Tools:
- Saw for cutting the boards (if not pre-cut to size);
- Drill and drill bit fro pre-drilling the holes (3mm thick bit for the 5mm thick screws); and
- Screwdriver.
