Pounders are the world’s first modular weighted gloves especially designed for the cobra bag for developing striking precision, speed and power.

The hard outer shell transfers most of the energy directly into the target/ball, resulting in much greater rebound compared to using standard boxing or MMA gloves with soft padding. It's like bouncing a ball on a hard floor compared to bouncing it on soft carpet.

Beyond power, Pounders teach precision. Unlike the soft outer surface of normal boxing or MMA gloves, the hard and round shell of the Pounders amplifies any misalignment of your fist, altering the trajectory of the target/ball. This leads to self-correction, and effectively trains your muscle memory to correctly strike with the first two knuckles of your fist.

Being modular, you can use them weighted or weightless. With the weight modules in, they increase muscle engagement and use the extra momentum to amplify the cobra bag’s swing range.

Soft inner pads protect the knuckles. Inside are soft pads designed to soften the impact on your knuckles. These can be removed to free up the internal space for when you're training with wraps.

Made from high grade silicone, the inner frame will not absorb sweat like normal boxing or MMA gloves. Even the removable knuckle pads are made from closed-cell foam and can be simply rinsed-off under the tap. This makes them perfect for boxing gyms where they might be shared between classes and users.

Being modular allows you to remove the hard outer shell (remove the weights first) and use them on a heavy bag (with caution*) just like small gloves, but now with the option to add weights.

* Heavy Bag Use Caution: Pounder are designed primarily for the Kewlus Cobra Bag and for precision training. They don't have the same level of padding as traditional boxing gloves so please take care if using them on heavier, more dense targets or on a heavy bag. If using them on a traditional punching bag always remove the outer shell. To remove the shell, remove the weights first, then squeeze the ends to take off the shell, and if needed, reinsert the weights before training. Begin gently, focusing on proper technique, and stop immediately if discomfort occurs.
