About Kewlus: World's First Modular & DIYable Cobra Bag System
About Me
I’m Reedy Kewlus, founder and sole creator of Kewlus. I started by making simple boxing and fitness gear for my own training and sharing the ideas on YouTube. Over time, those DIY experiments evolved into professional-grade equipment now used by fighters and gyms around the world.
The Kewlus Story
From a simple outdoor punching bag stand I made at 40 to training gear now used around the world, the Kewlus journey has unfolded publicly on YouTube over more than 16 years.
This playlist follows the real story as it happened - the early DIY experiments, the breakthroughs, the failures, the first cobra bag spring, the development of the modular system, Pounders, and now Coach.
What began as a few simple ideas shared from my backyard has grown into an internationally recognised training gear brand with customers in more than 50 countries.

Built From DIY
Kewlus began with simple DIY experiments and a belief that effective training gear does not need to be complicated.
Over time, those ideas evolved into the world’s first modular cobra bag system - shaped by years of testing, feedback from my YouTube audience, boxing coaches, and professional fighters.
Today, Kewlus gear is used by people in more than 50 countries. But the original spirit remains the same: keep experimenting, keep improving, and make training more engaging.
Why Modular Matters
Most cobra bags are sold as fixed products. Kewlus is different. It is a modular system designed to grow with your training.
You can mix and match springs, targets, masts, bases, and accessories to create a setup that suits your speed, skill level, and training goals. You can also upgrade individual components over time rather than replacing the entire bag. You can even make your own DIY components because it is all DIY compatible.
And if a genuine Kewlus component ever needs replacing, you receive a 50% replacement discount for life.
Make Your Own or Start Training Right Away
If you enjoy making your own gear, you can start with a DIY cobra bag using standard plumbing pipe and a Kewlus spring.
If you would rather skip the build and start training immediately, choose one of my complete cobra bag kits. Everything arrives ready to assemble, with components designed to snap together in minutes.
Either way, you are training on the same modular Kewlus platform.
Join the Journey
Kewlus is still evolving.
I continue to test new ideas through my own training, refine existing components, and develop new ways to make cobra bag workouts more challenging and enjoyable.
Follow the journey on YouTube, share your setup on social media, or send your ideas through the Contact Page. Your feedback may help shape what comes next.
