The Block Sandbags, or "Blocks" are your go-to solution for maximum versatility. They mount on either side of the mast and come with long Velcro straps for easy carrying and secure fastening during high-intensity sessions. Compatible with all base types, these are especially suited to the Freestanding kits that come with the Platform Paddles where wider ballast support is needed. The total weight is around 90 pounds (40kg) when filled to full capacity with sand.
When using the Blocks with Platform Paddles I recommend filling them with wet sand. This will increase the weight and also add firmness, which will reduce movement of the Platform Paddles substantially and improve the performance of your Freestanding Kewlus.
Please note that the sandbags do not come filled with sand. To keep the sand from seeping through cracks or accidentally spilling, line each sandbag with a large garbage bag before filling with sand. As you fill it, push the sand into the far corners so that it can be filled to maximum capacity. Once filled, roll up or tie up the opening of the garbage bag and close the velcro flap, ensuring that the two velcro sides are in alignment.
Caution: each sandbag when filled with dry sand weighs around 45 pounds (20kg), and greater with wet sand. Take care of your back when lifting, keeping your back straight and using your legs.

Shipping Info
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on total weight and price, with some periodic discounts. Currently there is free shipping on orders over $200 USD.
USA & Canada
Orders for the United States and Canada are typically shipped from our North American warehouse in Canada, with most deliveries arriving within 2–5 business days.
If an item is temporarily out of stock in North America, it may be shipped directly from our international warehouse. In that case delivery usually takes around 1–2 weeks, depending on location.
Please note that an adult signature is required for delivery of cobra bag kits. The courier will NOT be able to leave the package unattended.
International Orders
Orders outside the USA and Canada are shipped from our international warehouse and typically arrive within 1–2 weeks, depending on destination.
All duties and taxes are pre-paid, so there are no additional fees upon delivery.
Multiple Shipments
Because we operate multiple warehouses to keep delivery times fast, some orders may arrive in separate packages if items ship from different locations.
Tracking
You will receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is shipped. Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.
Pre-Ordering Products
Some products may be available for pre-order. If you place an order containing both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will ship once all items are available.
Should have zippers to close the flap instead of Velcro .. the sand comes out at times.. zipper is the way to go.

I researched the internet and unfortunately ended up buying a couple before purchasing the Kewlus bag. Best decision I've made.
