Pair of Kewlus Sandbags (V2)

The Kewlus Sandbags come in a set of 2 bags and have been specifically designed for the Kewlus Cobra Bag. The capacity is just right so when filled to full capacity with sand or gravel will give you a total of around 90 pounds (40kg) of weight for your base. Each bag has two long straps with Velcro at each end that can be joined together to form a handle of varying length.

This is the second generation of the Kewlus Sandbags. The new design has roughly 10% larger capacity and includes longer Velcro-based handles that you can separate and then join around the Mast. Putting the handles around the mast improves rigidity of the base and stops the sandbags from sliding off the baseboard or Platform Paddles. Having longer handles also allows a strong adult to pick up one sandbag with one hand - please read the caution note below regarding lifting. Explainer video coming soon.

Please note that the sandbags do not come filled with sand. To keep the sand from seeping through cracks or accidentally spilling, line each sandbag with a large garbage bag before filling with sand. As you fill it, push the sand into the far corners so that it can be filled to maximum capacity. Once filled, roll up or tie up the opening of the garbage bag and close the velcro flap, ensuring that the two velcro sides are in alignment.

Caution: each sandbag when filled with sand weighs around 45 pounds (20kg) and should ideally be lifted by two people - one person per handle. Take care of your back when lifting, keeping your back straight and using your legs.
