I designed the OctaBase to be more than just a foundation for your cobra bag - I wanted it to be a timeless piece of art you’ll be proud to train on. Hand-crafted from sustainably grown, premium plywood and finished in a high-gloss cherry red, it’s a truly environmentally friendly alternative to the large, dull plastic bases you see everywhere. Unlike water-filled plastic bases that are prone to cracking and leaking, the OctaBase is made to last a lifetime.

The smart octagonal shape isn’t just for looks; it delivers unbeatable rigidity and longevity, far outperforming water-filled plastic bases that can’t be repaired once they crack. I’ve made it easy to add castor wheels for mobility, so that you can simply wheel the whole unit out of the way without needing to take off the sandbags. Aside from being structurally strong, the octagonal shape also has a compact footprint, measuring just 18 inches across, and allowing you plant your front foot closer to the bag for better stability and form. Having the platform raised 5 inches off the ground also adds that extra height to the overall height of your cobra bag. In gyms around the world, it’s proven its reliability and timeless style - bringing together function and art in a way you simply don’t see anymore.

Handy Tip: If you wish to travel and want to take your Kewlus with you, the OctaBase can actually double as a solid container when turned upside down, allowing you to neatly stash every component of your Kewlus kit inside. All you need to do when you get to your destination is assemble it and fill the sandbags at the local beach.

Assembly Note: The OctaBase comes pre-drilled with holes matching those on the Base Connector (sold separately). Use 5mm x 50mm screws for attaching the Connector - the pack of 8 stainless steel screws that are available as an add-on are a perfect fit.
