The Donut Sandbags, or "Donuts" are designed to be mounted onto the mast offering a clean, compact appearance that complements round or octagonal bases like the OctaBase perfectly. In fact I designed these specifically for the OctaBase, but they can me used with any solid base, including your own DIY base. They neatly stack one on top the other and stay in place without needing long straps to go around the mast.
Each Donut features a reinforced nylon strap stitched around its circumference, preventing bulging and enhancing structural integrity. The strap also incorporates four evenly spaced handles for easy lifting, positioning, and stacking from any angle — making setup and adjustment effortless.
The Donuts are ideal if you're going to use the Olympic Sleeve and place an Olympic weight plate over the top. You really only need one Donut to hold the weight plate, making for a very neat and compact appearance.
Important: The Donuts are NOT suitable for use with Platform Paddles, which require a wider footprint. If you have the Platform Paddles as your base, please use the Block Sandbags and fill them with wet sand for maximum stability.
Important note when mounting: Take care when mounting the first Donut onto the Mast and Base Connector. Check that the butterfly clamp on the collar of the Base Connector is not caught in the fabric of the Donut and if necessary free it with your hand from the top.
Please note that the sandbags do not come filled with sand. To keep the sand from seeping through cracks or accidentally spilling, line each sandbag with a large garbage bag before filling with sand. As you fill it, push the sand left and right around the centre into the back of the bag. Occasionally lift the front of the bag to allow more of the sand to flow into the back. Once filled, tie up the opening of the garbage bag and close the velcro flap, ensuring that the two velcro sides are in alignment.
Caution: each sandbag when filled with dry sand weighs around 45 pounds (20kg). Take care of your back when lifting, keeping your back straight and using your legs.

Shipping Info
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on total weight and price, with some periodic discounts. Currently there is free shipping on orders over $200 USD.
USA & Canada
Orders for the United States and Canada are typically shipped from our North American warehouse in Canada, with most deliveries arriving within 2–5 business days.
If an item is temporarily out of stock in North America, it may be shipped directly from our international warehouse. In that case delivery usually takes around 1–2 weeks, depending on location.
Please note that an adult signature is required for delivery of cobra bag kits. The courier will NOT be able to leave the package unattended.
International Orders
Orders outside the USA and Canada are shipped from our international warehouse and typically arrive within 1–2 weeks, depending on destination.
All duties and taxes are pre-paid, so there are no additional fees upon delivery.
Multiple Shipments
Because we operate multiple warehouses to keep delivery times fast, some orders may arrive in separate packages if items ship from different locations.
Tracking
You will receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is shipped. Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.
Pre-Ordering Products
Some products may be available for pre-order. If you place an order containing both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will ship once all items are available.
