The Kewlus Cobra Bag is the world's first modular cobra bag capable of customisations, add-ons, upgrades and DIY integrations. The O₃ features the beautifully handcrafted OctaBase for superior mast rigidity and extra height. Combined with the world's most advanced Prime (KS3) Spring, it delivers the performance and reliability sought by professional boxers.

The O₃ kit includes the Red Bar for increasing the speed even more and the Olympic Sleeve for adding extra rigidity with optional Olympic weight plates. The O₃ also features a Stainless Steel Mast to be able to handle daily intense training such as in a boxing gym. Previously available only as a custom setup for professional boxers and elite boxing gyms, the O₃ Cobra Bag now brings professional-grade training to you!

First Batch Discount and Your Feedback

Please note that this first batch of O₃ kits may have some minor teething issues. For example, there has been a report of minor scratches on the underside made by the edge of the Mast scratching one side during shipping. While these will not impact the performance or outer appearance, nevertheless I have set the price at $650 (retail $750) to compensate for such minor teething issues. Your feedback with any such issues (no matter how minor) would be greatly appreciated and will help me to continue improving the quality of my products.

What's Included with the O₃ Kewlus Kit

• The Prime (KS3) Spring: Third generation spring made from the unique formulation of metals for the ultimate performance and longevity. No other spring comes even close.
• Genuine Prime Ball: Durable leather ball designed for ultimate performance and durability. It's the perfect balance between speed and power.
• Cobra Ball Adapter: Extendable length for increased reach, designed and engineered to allow flexibility at the rim for cupping the ball while maintaining top section rigidity and rebound speed. The adapter and Kewlus balls have been designed in unison to fit perfectly together for optimum performance.
• 2 x Click Bars: Lightweight, rust-free aluminium bars which can be used in both the bottom section (below the spring) for overall height adjustment and top section (above the spring) for adjusting the range of movement of the bag.
• Stainless Steel Mast: Made for the ultimate strength and reliability.
• Red Bar: Increase the speed of your cobra bag by switching the Click Bar in the top section to the lighter and shorter Red Bar for increasing speed.
• Base Connector: Versatile base connector made from composite fibre for the ultimate strength and rigidity is unlike most of the common water filled based where rigidity is lost due to the non-fibre plastic that is used.
• Pair of Sandbags: Designed for stability when filled with sand, especially if using wet sand (make sure to use a garbage bag as a liner).
• Olympic Weight Plate Sleeve: Add extra rigidity to your base for even better performance with one or two weight plates on top of the sandbags. The Sleeve slides onto the Mast and your weight plate slides onto the Sleeve.
• OctaBase: Handcrafted, octagonally-shaped plywood base that combines the old-school beauty of wood with the strength of multi-layered ply, offering superior rigidity as well as extra 5 inches of height over the Paddles. Included are a set of 8 x 2 inch stainless steel screws. The OctaBase is currently not available to purchase separately.

Height Range:

5'1" to 6'0" (155 cm to 183 cm). Setting the correct height for you is important. The top of the ball should be just above your chin. Watch boxing coach Paul Briggs (former highly ranked contender in the light heavyweight division) explain how to set the correct height:

Convertible to a Short Form

The Kewlus is convertible to a short form for children or for suspending it upside down. This is a unique capability that is only possible with the modular Kewlus system. With the Kewlus it's super quick and easy to set it up for your 5 year old! Just plug the Prime (KS3) spring directly into the Base Connector and tighten the steel clamp. With Kewlus you can get your children learning hand-eye coordination and boxing skills as early as you would like them to.

This ability to transform the cobra bag to a short form also allows it to be suspended upside down from an overhead structure such as a support beam. You can then adjust the length by either using the Click Bar for extra length or the Red Bar for shorter length.

Add Mobility with Castors

I designed a double thickness back panel on the OctaBase so that you could attach castor wheels. This can add mobility for your O3, so that you easily wheel out to a central spot for your training and wheel it back out of the way when not in use. Pick up a pair of large castor wheels that don't rotate from your nearest hardware store.
