The O₃ Kit

• Striker (KS3) Spring: The fastest of the third-generation KS3 springs, made from Kewlus Signature Metal Technology for crisp rebound performance and outstanding longevity.
• Genuine Leather Prime Target Ball: Premium leather target ball designed to provide an ideal balance of speed, power and durability.
• Target Ball Adapter: Extendable adapter designed to hold the target ball securely while maintaining top-section rigidity and fast rebound performance.
• 2 × Click Bars: Lightweight, rust-free aluminium bars used for overall height adjustment and control of the bag’s range of movement.
• Polymer Red Bar: A lighter and shorter top bar for increasing the speed and intensity of the rebound.
• Stainless Steel Mast: Heavy-duty mast designed for exceptional strength, rigidity and long-term reliability.
• Base Connector: Rigid composite-fibre connector designed to secure the Stainless Steel Mast firmly to the OctaBase.
• Pair of Donut Sandbags: Purpose-designed sandbags that slide neatly onto the Stainless Steel Mast and weigh down the OctaBase.
• Olympic Weight Plate Sleeve: Slides onto the Mast so that one or two of your own Olympic weight plates can be placed above the sandbags for increased rigidity and improved rebound performance.
• OctaBase: Handcrafted octagonal plywood base combining the natural appearance of wood with the strength and rigidity of multilayered ply. A set of 8 × 2-inch stainless steel screws is included.

Height range: The O₃ is designed for users approximately 5′1″ to 6′0″ tall (155 cm to 183 cm). For the correct setup, the top of the ball should sit just above your chin.

Fill the sandbags completely: The cobra bag will perform best when the base is properly weighed down. Each Donut Sandbag holds approximately 45 lb (20 kg) of sand when fully filled. Line the inside of each sandbag with a heavy-duty bin liner to prevent sand from seeping through the stitched seams.

Lower the first sandbag carefully: When placing the first Donut Sandbag onto the OctaBase, lower it carefully to avoid dislodging the metal clasp on the Base Connector clamp.

Add an Olympic weight plate: The included Olympic Weight Plate Sleeve allows you to place one or two of your own Olympic weight plates above the sandbags. This adds weight while also increasing the rigidity of the Mast.

Recommended setup: One fully filled Donut Sandbag with one 44 lb Olympic weight plate is a strong starting point. Add the second sandbag or an additional weight plate if you need greater stability.

Add mobility with castors: The OctaBase has a double-thickness rear panel designed to allow a pair of fixed castor wheels to be attached. This makes it easier to wheel the O₃ into position for training and move it out of the way afterwards.

Short-form setup for children: The modular O₃ can be converted into a shorter cobra bag by removing the Mast and Click Bar, inserting the Striker (KS3) Spring directly into the Base Connector and tightening the steel clamp firmly around the Base Connector collar.

This creates a compact version of the cobra bag at a comfortable height for younger users. As they grow, the Mast and Click Bar can be added gradually to increase the height.

Adult supervision: An adult should always assemble the bag and supervise children during use.

Suspended setup: The same short-form configuration can also be suspended upside down from a suitable overhead structure, such as a strong support beam. Use either a Click Bar or the shorter Polymer Red Bar to adjust the length.
