For the best stability, make a DIY base that is at least 3 inches thick. Use multiple layers of MDF board or particle board and secure the Base Connector firmly to the top.

The included 2-inch stainless-steel screws are suitable for an appropriately constructed layered board base. Depending on the thickness and construction of your chosen platform, longer screws or suitable bolts may provide an even stronger mounting solution.

Fill the included Block Sandbags completely to the top. Wet sand is ideal because it provides greater weight and stability. Use a heavy-duty plastic bag as a liner inside each sandbag.

The included Olympic Weight Plate Sleeve allows you to place one or two of your own Olympic weight plates above the sandbags. This adds weight while also increasing the rigidity of the Mast.

Ideally, the top of the target ball should sit just above chin height when you are standing upright in front of the bag. The Mast and lower Click Bar allow you to adjust the overall height. Taller users can also glue additional layers onto the DIY base to add extra height.

A taller DIY base allows you to use a shorter top section while maintaining a comfortable target height. This can improve the speed and responsiveness of the rebound.

Use the included Polymer Red Bar in the top section for a shorter, lighter and faster setup. Replace it with the second Click Bar when you want a longer range of movement and a slightly heavier top section.

The same short-form configuration used for children can also be suspended upside down from a suitable overhead structure, such as a strong support beam. Use either a Click Bar or the shorter Polymer Red Bar to adjust the length.
